YÖKAK Checklist
This checklist breaks the criteria of the THEQC (YÖKAK) Evaluation Programmes Guide, Version 3.3 (2026) down into department-level tasks. The head of department, the department quality coordinator, instructors and advisors can tick the items for their own role and track their preparation.
Governance, resources, education and the site-visit interview.
PDCA cycle, monitoring, stakeholder feedback and evidence management.
Course design, assessment, professional development and research.
Academic advising, career and psychosocial support, student club advising.
Sub-criteria for leadership, education, research and social contribution, plus items for preparing for the external evaluation.
A table showing which role is responsible (R) for or contributes (C) to each of the 46 sub-criteria.
Note: This checklist is an interpretation of the THEQC (YÖKAK) Guide, Version 3.3, adapted to department level; the binding texts are the Guide itself and the institution's directives. Your ticks are not sent anywhere; they stay in your own browser.

Department-level task checklists
Checklists that break the 46 sub-criteria of the THEQC (YÖKAK) Evaluation Programmes Guide, Version 3.3 (2026) down to department level. Choose your role and tick the items as you complete them. If you close the page, your ticks are lost. Your progress is saved in this device's browser.
Your role
You can choose more than one role. The “My roles” counter at the bottom counts only the checklists of the roles you choose.
Usage notes
Role mapping is an interpretation. The Guide is written at institutional level; it explicitly mentions the head of department, academic staff, students, graduates and the "faculty advisor", but not a "Department Quality Coordinator". This role is treated as the department-level counterpart of the institution's Quality Commission. Compare it with your institution's own directives.
Codes: The code at the end of each item (e.g. B.1.3) is the sub-criterion the item is based on; codes such as "Guide B.2.2" refer to the section of the Guide's main text.
Maturity level (1–5): 1 = none, 2 = planned/defined, 3 = implemented (across the unit), 4 = monitored and improved, 5 = internalized, systematic, sustainable and exemplary. This corresponds to the PDCA (Plan–Do–Check–Act; PUKÖ) cycle.
Golden rule for every item: Document it (P) → implement it and keep the evidence (D) → monitor/measure (C) → improve and show the improvement (A). Each sub-criterion also asks for evidence of an "original approach developed for the institution's needs, beyond standard practice and legislation".
Score weights (IAP, 1000 points): Leadership, Governance and Quality 300; Education and Training 400; Research and Development 200; Social Contribution 100. Full accreditation requires ≥650 points and ≥280 points in Education and Training, so at department level the most critical area is B (Education and Training).
Distance/blended education: The rubric mentions distance and blended education separately in almost every sub-criterion. If the department offers such courses, all related items apply to them as well.
